"Poent eo", the official song for 2026
“Poent eo”: The new Redadeg song is out!
It’s out! La Redadeg unveils its new official song: “Poent eo”, an energetic track created by Nolwenn Korbell and Plouz&Foen. A musical collaboration that sparks excitement and immediately makes you want to run, sing... or both!
A preview at Le Vauban
Before the release, a few lucky people were able to discover the song in preview at Le Vauban in Brest in November. With a warm atmosphere, a captivated audience, and top-notch artists, “Poent eo” was unanimously acclaimed from the very first notes.
A socially conscious song
“Poent eo” is not just a catchy tune: it is also a socially conscious song that tackles the themes of minorities, language, and the place they are given—or not given—with finesse and audacity. Through the lyrics, the artists remind us that it is time for things to change, for minority languages to finally be fully recognized and used in everyday life. It is a way of saying loud and clear what the Redadeg has always stood for: let’s live, let’s come together, let’s be the Breton language.
A song to get everyone moving
As always, the official song will accompany the race from start to finish. It will be heard on the roadsides, during celebrations, and even in the early morning when motivation is needed. And with a chorus like this, that shouldn’t be too difficult!
A big thank you to Plouz&Foen and Nolwenn Korbell for this lively and cheerful creation.
“Poent eo” – it’s time!
See you soon on the road to Redadeg!
